Action Strategies

  •  Trawl newspaper, the internet and health magazines for the
    latest emerging health trends, exercise and training approaches,
    equipment and gadgets.
    
  • Be an active practitioner by participating in exercise workshops
    or attending talks by recognised authorities in the field.
  •  Take an informed and scientific stance when it comes to
    controversial dietary and exercise practices.
    
  • Practise active listening skills and positive body language by
    observing and mirroring the positive client posture and keeping
    in check negative body language and non-verbal cues.
  •  Keep all client information confidential and resist commenting
    on information that is heard and shared between clients.
    
  • Practise and increase your vocabulary of words of motivation
    and practise marketing your services.
    
  • Be a lifelong learner and take an interest in all things current.
    Spend at least an hour a week reading outside of your immediate
    area of expertise.
