An effective communicator

He or she must be able to establish a good working rapport with clients.
He/she is well-heeled in listening, is communicative and demonstrates
positive empathy with clients. He/she is able to communicate well with a
wide spectrum of client types and is able to communicate knowledge,
experience, skills and attitude effectively and is at ease with different
client-types. In short, a personal trainer must have and continue to
cultivate excellent people-skills. It is important for personal trainers to
muster soft skills like excellent listening and questioning, and acquire
emotional quotient (people-skills and empathy) and adversity quotient
(capability to bounce back after set-backs).
